Loren was introduced to yoga by her friend Kim and after her very first class, she could not believe the strength she felt in her body and the ease she felt in her mind. In other words, Loren felt she could take on anything.

Deb Shaw

Deb Shaw began her yoga practice with Acharya Upendra Roy, in Sydney in 1993. She undertook Acharya’s Teacher Training Program in 2004, until he left his physical body in 2006. DS’ guru taught her to be wary of gurus and reminded her that the word “guru” was made up of 4 letters: “Gee, you are YOU!” . She started teaching a traditional Hatha and Raja Yoga style around Sydney in gyms, private classes, centres and her own small studio in St Peters.
