sthira sukham asanam– Yoga Sutras of Patanjali II:46
This sutra can be translated to mean steady, sweet and connected.
Feeling more grounded can be the ‘goal’ of yoga for many. Now, more than ever, a deeper connection to Mother Earth, through a sequence of long-held supine (lying) asana supported with a full complement of bolsters, blankets and blocks, can be the antidote for that feeling of ‘being swept away’ by the busy-ness of modern life. All you need is yourself and some comfy clothing.
All welcome and supported.
