What is this training?

This comprehensive introduction to Yin Yoga teacher training is a deep dive into the wisdom of stillness, designed for yoga teachers and experienced students who want to explore Yin Yoga as a transformative, healing, and teachable practice.

Through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, functional anatomy, nervous system awareness, and sacred philosophy, you’ll learn to guide and/or practice Yin classes with confidence, depth, and care.


What you’ll learn

  • Foundations of Yin Yoga: Poses, rebound, props, functional anatomy
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine: Introduction to Meridian Theory, Five Elements, seasonal wisdom
  • Energetics and philosophy: Brief introduction to Taoism, Yin–Yang theory, meditation in stillness
  • Trauma-informed facilitation: Nervous system literacy and safe space holding
  • Teaching Skills: Sequencing, theming, language, pacing, and presence

Founder of Yosemite Yoga, a loose collective of like-minded mountain and western Sydney folk, working together for the greater good. Accredited 300-hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, 800+hr Accredited Bija Yoga Mentor Training, 1500+hr Hatha, Vinyasa, Meditation and Yin instructor, and one of the first Trauma-informed yoga teachers in Australia. Qualified Yoga Therapist. Holding space with warmth, reverence, and a little bit of rebel.
