The Winter months call for a slower pace and afford us the opportunity to listen to what is going on around us and at the same time, within us. How do we use the Restorative practice to re-align our Selves back with the rhythms of Nature? We explore this question in this deeply reflective ‘rest-shop’ facilitated by Carmen Ceniza.

*No experience in Yoga required. Lots of bolsters and blankets and supine (lying) poses will be featured.

Why not double down on a FULL DAY of SELF-CARE, including LUNCH? Investment in self is $65 BIJA member/$85 non-member.

Book NOW to avoid disappointment, these workshops usually sell out fast.

Carmen Ceniza has been teaching yoga since 2008. Coming from a stressful professional career, she started practicing yoga for the physical and mental benefits. As she became more involved in her practice, her fascination and love for learning led her to a wonderful life journey as a Yogini.

In 2006 Carmen made the life-changing decision to become a Yoga teacher and studied at Samadhi Yoga, Newtown under the tutelage of Advanced Certified Jivamukti Teacher and Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Katie Manitsas. Carmen also travelled to India to attain her Kundalini teacher qualification under the guidance of Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.

After many years of running a successful yoga studio in Penrith, Carmen has pivoted her focus and has evolved Lila Yoga into cyber space where she feels she can share her love for yoga to a larger community. She has created accessible online classes, private meditation and breath-work sessions. She also honours the value of human touch by making personal connections, through regular workshops, retreats and events at different locations around Australia and internationally.
