JIVAMUKTI FUNDAMENTALS

Our Jivamukti FUNDAMENTALS Course progresses week-by-week and is recommended for students new to yoga as well as those looking for a ‘primer’ on the fundamentals of asana. Questions are encouraged during class time. Created by Sharon Gannon and David Life.

YIN YOGA

YIN Yoga consists of seated and supine asana (postures) held for long periods of time, and often supported by props. The long holds serve to strengthen the fascia (connective tissue) of the body. Yin Yoga can be a very reflective practice.

ART OF FLOW

In this specially-created course we break down classic sequences progressively, including many Jivamukti sequences, allowing students the space and time to understand and practice safe alignment, breathing techniques and how to modify for different levels of practice. 5-WEEK COURSES

TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA

BIJA YOGA is running a 5 week trauma sensitive yoga course for those who would like to experience a gentle accessible form of yoga. Trauma-informed yoga is an approach to teaching and learning yoga that comes from an understanding of trauma and its neurobiological basis.

BREATHE FOCUS RELAX

This special 5 week course allows us to dive deeper into the subtler practices of yoga: pranayama (directing the life force through breathing), meditation (focusing on a single point with the goal of doing so without any interruption) and deep relaxation (as opposed to distraction).
