Jivamukti BASICS progresses week-by-week and is recommended for students new to yoga as well as those who need a ‘primer’ on the fundamentals of asana. Questions are encouraged during class time. Created by Sharon Gannon and David Life.

Yin Yoga consists of seated and supine asana (postures) held for long periods of time, and often supported by props. The long holds serve to strengthen the fascia (connective tissue) of the body. Yin Yoga can be a very reflective practice.

THE ART OF SEQUENCING
Ready to progress from BASICS but not quite ready for OPEN? This course explores the concept of ‘vinyasa’ (flowing style of yoga) by progressively breaking down and practicing popular sequences such as sun salutations as well as some classic Jivamukti sequences. Suitable for those new to vinyasa as well as those who would like to improve their practice.
